Predators (2010)

Royce (Adrien Brody) awakens from unconsciousness to find himself parachuting into an unfamiliar jungle. None of them know where they are or how they arrived there. Royce takes charge but reveals little about himself, though Isabelle suspects that he is a mercenary and former black operations soldier. He speculates that they have been brought to the jungle for a reason since, with the exception of Edwin, they are all armed and lethal killers. In the jungle, they find empty cages, plants with a neurotoxic poison that Edwin collects on a scalpel, and a deceased United States Special Forces soldier. Arriving at higher ground, they find themselves staring at an alien sky and conclude that they are not on Earth.

In 1978, five friends win their junior high basketball championship. During the celebration, their coach "Buzzer" (Blake Clark) encourages them to live their lives in a similar way to how they played the game.

30 years later, the five friends have since separated. Lenny Feder (Adam Sandler) is a film star agent who is married to Roxanne (Salma Hayek), a fashion designer. Together, they have two sons, Greg and Keith, and one daughter Becky, all of whom have become spoiled, much to Lenny's annoyance. Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James) is a co-owner of a lawn furniture company who is married to Sally (Maria Bello). Together, they have one daughter, Donna and one son Bean, who still breastfeeds despite being four years old, much to Eric's chagrin. Kurt McKenzie (Chris Rock) is a stay at home father who is married to Deanne (Maya Rudolph), the primary breadwinner of the family. Together, they have a son, Andre, and a daughter, Charlotte, while Deanne is pregnant with a third child, and her mother, Ronzoni, lives with them as well. All of them harass Kurt for not being more useful. Rob Hilliard (Rob Schneider) is a thrice divorced pacifist vegan married to Gloria (Joyce Van Patten), who is 30 years older than him. Marcus Higgins (David Spade) has become a single womanizer.

Salt (2010)

Evelyn Salt (Jolie), a CIA agent, interrogates a Russian defector, Orlov (Olbrychski). He tells her about "Day X", an operation organized by a powerful Russian since the Cold War, which will lead to the destruction of the United States. Orlov also mentions that at the funeral of the late Vice President in New York City, the visiting Russian President will be killed by a trained Russian spy. He mentions that the name of the Russian spy is Evelyn Salt. From brain scans performed during the interrogation, Ted Winter (Schreiber), Peabody (Ejiofor), and other CIA officials all see that Orlov is telling the truth.

Salt, who is shaken up at the accusation, attempts to contact her husband Mike (Diehl) an arachnologist, fearing that he will be in danger. Meanwhile, Orlov escapes, prompting Salt proceeds to escape herself- causing the CIA to think she is a spy. She flees back to her apartment to find her husband; she finds that her husband is not there, but sees signs that he was there recently (half-eaten sandwich). Salt resumes her escape when the CIA barge in, grabbing essentials as well as a venemous spider. The CIA realizes that if Orlov's words are correct, Salt will be the one who kills the Russian President. After barely escaping a frantic highway pursuit, Salt takes a bus to New York City.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010)

Plot:

In 740 AD, one of Merlin's (James A. Stephens) apprentices, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), joins forces with the evil sorceress Morgana le Fay (Alice Krige), betraying Merlin. Morgana mortally wounds Merlin before his other apprentices, Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) and Veronica (Monica Bellucci), can stop her. While Balthazar battles Horvath, Morgana prepares to kill Balthazar, but is stopped by Veronica, who absorbs Morgana’s soul into her own body. As Morgana tries to kill Veronica from within, Balthazar stops her by imprisoning Morgana and Veronica in the Grimhold, a prison similar to a nesting doll.

Before dying, Merlin gives his remaining apprentice a dragon ring that will choose the Prime Merlinian, who will become Merlin's successor. Only the Prime Merlinian will be able to defeat Morgana. Throughout history Balthazar imprisons Morganians, sorcerers who try to release Morgana, including Horvath, into successive layers on the Grimhold while he searches for the successor.

Plot:

The scene then changes to Spencer sneaking onto a boat, taking out a guard, then putting a time bomb on the bottom of a helicopter. He then swims back and goes on the date with Jen.

The Last Airbender (2010)

Story Line:

The film begins with a fourteen-year-old Waterbender girl named Katara, and her older fifteen-year-old warrior brother, Sokka from the Southern Water Tribe, unfreeze an Iceberg with a 12-year-old boy Aang, and a flying bison named Appa, inside of it. This attracts the attention of Zuko, the Prince of the Fire Nation who was exiled by his father: The current Fire Lord Ozai. Arriving to Southern Water Tribe, Zuko demands the elderly under the impression that Avatar is an old person until Aang is found. Aang surrenders himself to Zuko as long as he agrees to leave the village alone. Aboard Zuko's ship, Aang is at Zuko's mercy, but he dares the two escorts that he could take them both in a fight with both of his hands tied behind his back. Eventually he manages to maneuver away from the guards before Katara and Sokka arrive on Appa, making their escape. Aang and friends visit the Southern Air Temple where the Avatar learns that he was in the ice for a century and the Fire Nation wiped out everyone he knew there, entering the Avatar State and revealing to the world that the Avatar has returned via spiritually significant statues begin to glow, just like Aang's eyes and tatooes. It was there Aang meets up with the only known remaining "flying lemur", naming it "Momo" as it joins Aang's group. Meanwhile, Commander Zhao invites Prince Zuko and Iroh for lunch, only to humiliate Zuko in front of his men.

Story Line:

A tale that deals with dreams and reality, the story begins with Cobb (Leonardo) who gives a proposal to the Japanese tycoon Saito (Ken Watanabe). It is to protect himself from ‘Extraction’ – stealing an idea from a dream. Saito has his own doubts and before he could take a decision, Cobb and his buddy Arthur (Joseph) try and do the extraction stint with Saito. However, Cobb’s own subconscious block in the form of his wife Mal (Marion) spoils the plot at every instant. While the plot doesn’t succeed, Saito comes up with a proposal to Cobb since he knows that both Cobb and Arthur are evading the US authorities. Cobb is desperate about going back to the US. Saito says that he would let them go free of all charges if they can take up a mission. It is to do an ‘Inception’ – putting an idea successfully into someone’s mind. The target is Robert Fischer (Cillian Murphy), heir to a multi-billion dollar oil empire. Saito wants Cobb to incept a thought so that Fischer breaks the empire and that would make the Japanese the number one. Cobb takes the mission and he gets onto form his dream team- an architect Ariadne (Ellen Page), a forger Earnes (Tom Hardy), a chemist Yusuf (Dileep Rao). The plan is to break up the inception process into three stages. Whether the dream team succeeds in the inception? What happens to the dark ghosts of Cobb’s memories? What is reality and what is a dream? All this forms the rest of the story.

Plot:

Andy, now 17 years old, has outgrown his old toys and is preparing to move to college. He decides to take Woody with him and packs the other toys in a garbage bag, intending to store them in the attic, but Andy's mother mistakenly puts the bag out on the curb as garbage. Believing that Andy no longer wants them, the toys sneak into a box to be donated to Sunnyside Daycare. As the only toy who saw what really happened, Woody tries to clear up the misunderstanding, but the others refuse to listen. The toys are driven to Sunnyside where they receive a warm welcome from the daycare toys, led by Lotso the "Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear." Woody tries to convince the others to return to Andy, but they feel like they would be happier at Sunnyside, so they let him leave without them. The others soon discover the children Lotso assigned them with are too young, and they are innocently abused and tortured. Buzz goes to ask Lotso to transfer them to the older children, but is instead caught by some of the Sunnyside toys and reset to his original, deluded space ranger self.

The story opens with the revelation that Seattle, Washington is being plagued by a string of murders, which Edward suspects is caused by a new vampire that is unable to control its thirst for human blood. Although Edward fears for her safety, Bella insists that neither Jacob nor his wolf pack would ever harm her, and she begins visiting him occasionally. On one of these visits, Jacob tells Bella that he is in love with her and wants her to choose him instead of Edward, but Bella says she just sees him as a friend. To that, Jacob forcibly kisses her and she reacts by punching him in the face, breaking her hand while not even leaving a scratch on him. Meanwhile, Alice Cullen has a vision that Victoria, a vampire who is hunting Bella for revenge, has returned to Forks. A few days later, Edward proposes to Bella and, despite harboring an aversion to marriage, she accepts.
